Your dimensions.
Your finish. Your brand.
SIFMAT supplies custom silicone fiberglass mats for fireplace accessory brands, outdoor product distributors and private label buyers. Specify the outline, material, sewn edge and packaging for your product range.

01 / Define the finished mat
A fireplace hearth mat, an under-grill mat and an outdoor fire-pit mat face different conditions. Tell us what the mat must cover, the surface beneath it and the exposure it will receive. Those details determine the material and finish.
Half-round or rectangular formats for the area in front of a fireplace. Specify the opening width, coverage depth, floor finish and intended ember exposure.
View the hearth mat product →Define the grill footprint, grease exposure, cleaning method and storage format. Include the heat source, underside clearance and deck or patio surface in the brief.
View outdoor mat options →Build coordinated sizes with consistent binding, artwork and packs. Separate each size and color into an order line so repeat orders follow the same approved specification.
Plan a multi-size order →A flexible mat does not replace a stove manufacturer's specified hearth pad, installation clearances or floor-protection system. Select and approve the finished mat for the actual exposure; the word “fireproof” alone does not define a performance rating.
02 / Customization & minimum quantities
Simple cutting starts at 50 pieces per specification. Branding and finishing add their own minimums. A new material batch or printed pack needs a larger production run.
Starting MOQ guide: quantities below are planning points for an inquiry. The quotation confirms material availability and the minimum for the combined specification. Unless stated otherwise, quantities apply per size, color, construction or artwork.
Cut and finish an existing material. Quantities apply to each finished size and specification.
| Custom option | Starting MOQ | Specification details |
|---|---|---|
| Custom size & simple shape | 50 pcs | Rectangle, square, round, half-round or oval. Supply finished length × width or diameter, including the binding. |
| Corner radius & standard black binding | 50 pcs | Show the corner radius and binding width. Specify the finished outline and seam position. |
| Existing material thickness | 50 pcs | Request an available grade, for example 0.5, 0.8, 1.0 or 1.5 mm. Confirm thickness and tolerance on the sample. |

|---|---|---|
| Existing surface color | 100 pcs | Choose an available color and material combination. Confirm the physical sample for the selected construction. |
| Pantone / RAL silicone color | 500 pcs | Provide the color reference. Approve a coated sample; fabric texture and finish affect the final appearance. |
| Existing textured or grip backing | 100 pcs | Specify the floor surface and finish. Evaluate movement and marking on the intended surface. |
| Existing material or multilayer construction | 100 pcs | Define the coated fiberglass faces, insulation or aluminum layer and finished thickness. Confirm the actual layer sequence. |
| New thickness, coating or layer structure | 500 pcs* | Specify the target thickness, coating weight, flexibility and construction. A new material batch has a separate production minimum. |
| New base fabric, weave or GSM | 500 pcs* | Define the material specification and total area. Raw-material batch requirements can set a higher finished-piece minimum. |
Provide artwork dimensions, colors and position. Select inks and labels for the intended location and exposure.
| Custom option | Starting MOQ | Specification details |
|---|---|---|
| One-color logo or graphic | 100 pcs | Screen-printed brand mark, simple graphic or care text. Supply vector artwork and a placement drawing. |
| Multi-color graphic | 300 pcs | Specify color count, print area and registration requirements. Approve a printed sample. |
| Full-surface special printing | 500 pcs | Submit the design for process review, including coverage and intended wear conditions. |
| Custom woven or fabric label | 300 pcs | State label size, fold, artwork and sewing position. Label production has its own minimum. |
| Buyer-supplied sewn label | 50–100 pcs | Send label material and dimensions for review. The attachment method determines the finished-order minimum. |
Packaging quantities apply per artwork and pack format. Specify mats per pack and the folded or rolled dimensions.
| Custom option | Starting MOQ | Specification details |
|---|---|---|
| Plain OPP / PE bag | 50 pcs | Individual bag with bulk cartons. Confirm the packing method against the finished mat size. |
| Branded sticker + plain bag | 100 pcs | Logo, SKU, barcode or QR label. Provide the final label content and placement. |
| Printed instruction card | 300 pcs | Branding, dimensions, intended use, care and product-specific instructions. |
| Printed bag or storage bag | 500 pcs | Confirm bag material, dimensions, artwork and closure. |
| Printed retail box | 500 pcs | Color box or kraft box. Set the dieline around the approved packed sample. |
| Retail / marketplace pack | 500 pcs | Define the box, barcode, insert and pack quantity for your sales channel. Supply the destination-specific packing brief. |
* New-material orders must also meet the raw-material batch requirement. Finished size and cutting yield determine how that area converts into a piece quantity. Tooling, artwork setup and sampling are quoted separately where required.

03 / Details that define the product
For a clean, consistent range, define the visible surface and edge finish together. A black border creates a common finish across multiple surface colors; a custom border needs its own tape specification.
Performance requirements apply to the complete assembly, including coatings, thread, binding and labels. Include exposure time and required test conditions in the specification.
04 / Practical order examples
Minimums for different operations are not added together. Each operation must cover the quantity it applies to. Shared artwork does not automatically combine different material or size batches.
50 finished mats
One rectangular size in an existing grade, standard black binding and plain individual bags.
Meets the 50-piece starting point for basic conversion. Confirm the available material and finished dimensions in the quote.
100 finished mats
One size with a screen-printed logo and a branded sticker on a plain bag.
The logo and sticker each start at 100 pieces. Plan 100 mats, rather than adding 50 + 100 + 100.
200 finished mats / planning quantity
100 rectangular mats and 100 half-round mats, each with the same one-color logo.
Both sizes meet the 100-piece branding starting point. Printed boxes would introduce a separate 500-piece minimum per pack format.
05 / From drawing to repeat order
A finished sample puts the material, sewing, artwork and pack together. Use it to agree the details that will be checked during production and repeated on the next order.
Provide use conditions, finished dimensions, quantity per variant and the required delivery date. Include a drawing or existing sample reference.
Agree the material, MOQ, edge, branding and pack. Confirm sampling cost, tooling and the proposed production schedule.
Check fit, thickness, binding, color, logo position and packed size. Complete the agreed performance checks for the intended use.
Approve the drawing revision, sample and inspection criteria. Use the same specification reference for repeat orders.
Buyer questions
Basic custom sizes and simple shapes start at 50 pieces per specification using an existing material. One-color logos start at 100 pieces, custom sewn labels at 300, and Pantone colors or printed retail boxes at 500. The quotation confirms the combined minimum for your material, size, finish and packaging.
Yes. Half-round, rectangular, square, round and oval mats start at 50 pieces per finished specification. For a half-round hearth mat, send the straight-edge width, front-to-back depth and outline. Include the binding in the finished dimensions.
List the quantity for each size separately. A 50-piece size minimum applies to each finished size: two sizes at 50 pieces each total 100 pieces. Shared logo artwork does not automatically combine separate size, color or material batches.
Processing minimums are not added as separate orders of mats. For one size with a 50-piece cutting minimum and a 100-piece logo minimum, plan at least 100 finished mats. Every selected operation and packaging format must meet its own minimum, and material batches can raise the required quantity.
Yes. One-color printing starts at 100 pieces and custom woven or fabric labels at 300. Supply final artwork, dimensions and placement. Keep any safety or performance wording specific to the approved product and its supporting documentation.
Yes. Cutting an available thickness starts at 50 pieces; existing material combinations start at 100. New coating thicknesses, base fabrics or multilayer structures are planned from 500 pieces, subject to the raw-material production minimum. Specify the complete construction and required performance for sample review.
A flexible hearth mat is not a substitute for a hearth pad or floor-protection system specified by the stove manufacturer. Define the intended ember exposure, radiant heat, contact conditions and supporting floor when requesting a mat. Confirm the finished construction for that use.
The applicable performance depends on the complete construction, exposure time and test conditions. A base-fabric rating does not establish the rating of its coating, binding, thread or backing. Include your required operating conditions and test documentation in the quotation brief.
Yes. Request a finished sample for the agreed size, material, edge, printing and packaging. Sample cost and timing are quoted for the project. Approve the drawing, physical sample and inspection requirements before production.
Send the intended use, finished dimensions or drawing, material and thickness, backing, edge details, artwork, quantity per specification, packaging format, delivery location and required arrival date. Include exposure conditions and any required product testing.
